For those who are not familiar with the dogmillrehomers, perhaps you might have read in the newspapers a few months ago about the breeder at pasir ris farmway who gave up his dogs to a private rescue group or you ever received a viral sms saying that there were many free abandoned dogs for adoption at pasir ris farmway free for anyone to take.

Well, these are the dogs and the rescue group involved.

The info in the sms was wrong about almost everything but the dogs are real. They were rescued from a puppymill breeder when he ran into financial difficulties and was about to sell the dogs to other breeders. He gave them little or no care at all. Now he's been put behind bars for his cruelty to them. (Read about it here: http://thecourtroom...._six_dogs.html)

There were 85 of them
6 have since died from illnesses
1 is still in the hospital recovering
66 have been adopted
12 are still waiting for homes

7 are hdb-approved breeds
5 are private/landed-sized breeds

DogMillRehomers are having an adoption drive next weekend 31 July (Sat) and 1 August (Sun) at Mutts & Mittens.
If your looking for a loving companion, do consider these dogs who have so much love to give and no one to give it to.

Do note that Peggy the Maltese has already been adopted.
