I came home today to find my old boy 'missing'. I couldn't find him anywhere in his usual hideouts and he didn't come out like he'd always do when I tapped on his cage. I thought he might have escaped impossible as it is. I eventually found him holed up in an apple hideout. But his eyes were closed and his body was still.

His going is a complete shocker for me. I never expected him to leave just like that.
There were no signs except maybe come to think of it, he seemed to have lost some weight recently.
He was only a week away from his 2nd birthday.. :(
Maybe he preferred to celebrate it with his brother instead of me.

Well, you are a special one little boy. You are the grouchiest hamster I've ever had. But I grew to like you for that. Your expressions somehow remind me of a grandfather looking at a granddaughter thinking what a complete donkey she is. It makes me laugh.

Thanks Campbella for letting me adopt him and his brother.

L- you seem to have adopted the most gungho and clever set of brother.

Glad they have a good life with you.

Remember the scene now when i sent a bunch of little one to your home,

cute little one scurrying around while you selected the 2,

Of the bunch I still have the papa and one black brother with me.

I am glad this gene pool is good cos they do not suffer much lump and such so far
which is atypical of dwarfs adopted.

Life is not just about remembering the good. Erasing the unfortunate incidents do not mean that they do not exist in the first place and that your life would be smooth sailing in the future. It is the unfortunate experiences that we can learn from and be nurtured into better beings.
